Beauty

Glitz Beauty - You must compete in glitz beauty. We are looking for a contestant with a gorgeous face.  Bring on the bling – it’s full glitz we are looking for!  Stage set up in a back T.  Lineup will be before beauty only (no lineup for other events).

Modeling Events
If you enter multiple modeling events, whichever modeling event scores is/are higher will be used for your supreme score (beauty + 2 optionals, only one of which may be a photo). 

Crown Jewels Wear -a themed event where you can use your imagination!  This is the category where you can have a LOT of fun - props and unique ideas encouraged!  (Answering a frequently asked question:  Your routine does not specifically HAVE to have crowns or jewels in it - you may if you want to but it is not a requirement.)  This is not a talent event and at least some portion of the time you are on stage must include modeling.  This is not a required event but an additional opportunity for that perfect modeling score. You may use your own music.

Swimwear – model your choice of swimwear, 1 piece or 2 piece.  Mr. Tim will provide the music.

OOC  - Model your choice of outfit: casual wear, sportswear, themed wear, western wear, etc. Your choice! You may use your own music or choose from La Belle's selection.

Friday Night Optionals

Interview & Facial Beauty
This is an optional event that will be held on Friday evening.  Judges will casually chat with the contestant.  No pressure, no difficult questions!  You will leave the interview with two more optional scores:  Interview and Facial Beauty. 

Photo Events
If you enter multiple photo events, whichever photo event score is higher will be used for your supreme score.   Your name and age must be on the back of every photo, and we suggest that each photo be in a clear protector.  No frames, please.  NOTE:  If you leave your photos at the pageant and they must be mailed to you, there will be a $10 charge for USPS or a $25 charge for Fed Ex that must be paypal'd BEFORE your photos are mailed.

 Color Glitz - color, close up head shot. 

Black & White Glitz – black and white, close up headshot. 

Natural headshot - color, close up head shot.  Judges will be looking for a natural photo.  Light retouching allowed for smoothing stray hairs, blemishes, etc. 

Print Model – your favorite ¾ or full body photo. 

Series – a theme board, usually 10” x 20”. 

Portfolio - a collection of your favorite shots, may be any kind of photos (head shots, full length, inside/outside, black & white, color, etc.).  You may have up to 15 photos:  judges will quit judging after the 15^th.

Comp Card - a variety of photos to include head shots and full body or three quarter shots arranged together in an original, creative way. 

JACKPOTS

Note:  these are not titles, and they do not receive crown & banner.  These are jackpot events FOR THE CASH!  They may be won by anyone in the pageant.

Photogenic Superstar – you must enter at least 5 of the 7 photo events to qualify for this event.  Highest 5 photo scores.  This is a jackpot event.  The winner will receive 50% of all proceeds.

Top Model – Highest modeling event score in the pageant.  This is a jackpot event.  The winner will receive 50% of all proceeds.

Most Beautiful – Highest glitz facial beauty score in the pageant.  This is a jackpot event.  The winner will receive 50% of all proceeds.

Overall Swim Wear Model – highest score in Swim Wear.  This is a jackpot event.  The winner receives 50% of all proceeds.

Top OOC - highest score in OOC.  This is a jackpot event.  The winner receives 50% of all proceeds.

Overall Interview - highest score in Interview.  This is a jackpot event.  The winner receives 50% of all proceeds.

Overall Crown Jewels Wear – highest score in Crown Jewels Wear.  This is a jackpot event.  The winner receives 50% of all proceeds.

May enter all 7 of the individual overalls (Photogenic, Top Model, Most Beautiful, Swimwear Model, Top OOC and Crown Jewels Wear) for $200.  Individual Jackpot events may be entered for $40 each.
