Cara Ryckman lives in Old Hickory, TN, with her husband Rick and her daughters Shelby, Lexi and Bella.  Her son Kyle lives in Waco, TX, and her daughter Chelsea lives in the Dallas area.  She has been a realtor, a travel agent, a spa owner, an investor, but most of all she loves being a mom. 

Cara grew up in a West Texas ranching family.  Her beloved grandfather had a story that circulated about him in Eden, TX, about when he drove back 45 miles to return a dime to a convenience store where he had been given too much in change.  Even up to his death in 1999, Cara's grandfather still leased his land with a handshake.  Cara's family has always felt strongly about honesty, integrity, saying what you mean, and doing what you say you are going to do.  Cara has always taken those attributes very seriously, and tries to apply them to every part of her life.  She especially loves the Nashville, TN area as she has fallen in love with the people...they are such 'real' and honest people who genuinely care about others. 

Organizing large events has been a recurring theme in her life, from being show chairman of dog shows to putting together a 4-day expo with almost 1000 participants to putting together charity events at her former day spa for over 200 guests.

Crown Jewels 2010 was a very successful event, with 109 registrations and 76 attendees.  100% of the respondents to the after-pageant survey said they would return to Crown Jewels and recommend others.  Attention to detail, organization, and caring about the kids and the families who attend put Crown Jewels on the map.

Cara is no stranger to successful first endeavors.  Her day spa received the coveted Gold Symbol of Excellence from a secret shopper from Spa Wish - one of only 2 spas in Texas ever to receive the award and the only spa in the Austin area to receive it - after only 4 months of operation.  Spa Aloha received one of the highest scores ever awarded.

Cara has been an ebay seller and buyer under the ebay ID "angelohomes" since 1998 with 100% feedback and never a single negative or neutral feedback.   Her current feedback score is 1388.

Aside from going to pageants with her daughters, Cara enjoys participating in Shelby events with Rick, who races Shelbys.  Cara and Rick are members of the Sea Ray Owners Club.  Cara is a Twilight addict - Team Edward!  (Yes that is where Bella's name came from!)  Cara loves travel, especially cruises.
